Sun Drenched Slate

Nestled in the grand mountains of Sun Valley, Idaho, this conceptual design of a guest house and vacation rental property holds a feeling of safe serenity and calm comfort. The layout is optimized for the occupant with areas to take in the sweeping views, as well as places to tuck away and enjoy the quiet moments. The dark and organic material palette grounds the design and balances the beautiful natural light coming into the space. Walls are adorned with pieces by local artists, the kitchen features a playful yet mature suspended day-bed, and the primary suite is all about the details with its channel tufted suede and walnut custom wall paneling.

Organic materials near transitional points create a seamless flow between spaces, and ensure that the living space can easily expand into the outdoors.
